Bruce Hallsor named among Vancouver Island's Top 40 Under 40


June 18, 2007 -- The Victoria Times Colonist has awarded Crease Harman lawyer Bruce Hallsor as among the Top 40 Visionaries under 40 on Vancouver Island. Bruce represents the legal category on the list, which includes notes professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, and other high achievers. The special ecition of the Times Colonist containing the announcement stated the following:

Bruce Hallsor takes an interest in an issue and then makes a diffference. After only seven years practicing law, Hallsor became a partner at B.C.'s oldest law firm. Besides building a successful practice, Hallsor devotes his time to several committees and sits on numerous boards.

"I'm interested in bettering my community in many different ways,"
said the lawyer, who specialises in business law, wills and estates, real estate and tax planning.

Hallsor was President of the Victoria Bar Association and was elected by his peers to several positions within the Canadian Bar Association.
He helped organise Royal visits when he was Chairman of the Monarchist League, and was a founding force in the electoral reform movement in B.C. He has also served provincially and federally as a riding president, campaign manager, and he ran as a federal candidate in 2000.
