Professional Focus
Mr. McGregor is a litigation lawyer who has practiced with Crease
Harman & Company in the areas of employment law, insurance law,
contract law, debtor-creditor, commercial tenancy, administrative
law, real property law, and personal injury law, among others, since
graduating from the University of Victoria Law School with an L.L.B
degree. Mr. McGregor has prosecuted matters in the Provincial Court,
Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia, as well as
the Federal Court of Canada. He also has considerable experience
in representing clients at administrative tribunals.
Before working for Crease Harman & Company Mr. McGregor acted
as a Human Rights Investigator for the Provincial Ministry of Labour
and as tribunal representative of the Ministry of Human Resources.
Mr. McGregor is an experienced legal researcher having worked for
the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs and the University of Victoria.
Mr. McGregor has given seminar/workshop presentations on various
employment law related topics, such as “The New Privacy Laws
and Employer Records” and “Mental disability and the
Duty to Accommodate”. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association
and the British Columbia Bar Association. He annually participates
as a judge for the 1st year Moot Court presentations at UVIC.
