Bronwen E. Bell Joins Crease Harman & Company as Associate CounselCrease Harman has hired Bronwen E. Bell as an associate counsel as of June 1, 2009. Bronwen was born in Victoria and attended St. Michaels University School, before moving to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia. After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours English (with distinction), Bronwen traveled throughout South America for a year, honing her Spanish skills. Upon her return, she entered law school at the University of British Columbia and earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2008. She then articled with Crease Harman & Company and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2009. After articling, Bronwen joined Crease Harman & Company as an associate, practicing family law, as well as general civil litigation and employment law. She also assists the British Columbia Assessment Authority, providing legal advice and preparing for hearings before the Property Assessment Review Panel and Property Assessment Appeal Board. Bronwen has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including mediation and collaborative law, and endeavours to resolve her clients’ problems outside of court whenever possible. Bronwen is an active member of the Victoria Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the Women Rainmakers, Family Law and Civil Litigation Victoria Subsections of the Canadian Bar Association.
